October – that can only mean one thing. It’s time for something really scary. Not Halloween, though we’ve got that covered too. What’s really something that really terrifies kids (and adults?)

THEN WE CAN DIG IT!

But wait!  Math is fun.  Often considered the school equivalent of a root canal, math is given shaft (Shaft – get it???).  But it’s really a whole language as complete as French, Chinese or Arabic.   And we use it, every single one of us, every day, in millions of ways.  So we wanted to take the scare out of math this month and have some fun looking at the many sides of math in literature.
